What Information Is Needed for a Flexible-Packaging Quote?

The minimum useful inputs for rollstock, pouch, or poly-bag pricing.

Short answer

Start with the package format, dimensions, current structure or sample, print information, product and filling process, order quantity, annual usage, and ship-to location. For rollstock, add web width, repeat, unwind, core, roll limits, and machine details when known.

Unknown is an acceptable answer

Do not invent a film structure or machine specification to complete a form. Mark the field unknown and attach the current package, roll label, artwork, or prior specification. A clear unknown is easier to resolve than a confident wrong answer.

Explain the reason for the quote

A new launch, cost comparison, second source, performance problem, and machine change are different projects. That context tells the supplier whether matching, redesign, testing, or schedule risk needs attention.
