Why this matters
A complete RFQ gets accurate, comparable quotes fast and avoids re-quotes across many SKUs.
Give every SKU its own row
List item, format, dimensions, current sample or construction, artwork version, annual usage, ordinary order quantity, ship-to location, and timing for each SKU. Mark unknowns instead of copying assumptions across the program.
- Identify shared specifications and colors.
- Keep artwork-specific quantities and revisions distinct.
- Label volumes as forecasts, commitments, or history.
- Define how orders may be grouped and released.
Ask suppliers to return their assumptions
Make the quantity basis, setup charges, tooling, freight basis, lead-time basis, minimums, and exclusions visible. That creates a reviewable comparison instead of unrelated unit prices.
Boundary: An RFQ does not replace controlled specifications or application validation.
Use the next worksheet
The Multi-SKU RFQ Builder helps carry the known information into a consistent next step. It does not certify technical suitability or guarantee pricing.
